Who operates Rumbelia
Rumbelia is a travel editorial website at rumbelia.com. Its operator and data controller is Adrián Pérez Cobo. For privacy questions or requests, email rushersadr@gmail.com.
Information used to deliver the website
When you visit, our hosting systems may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, search terms in URLs, referring page and request time. We use this information to deliver pages, maintain security, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. The basis for essential operational and security processing is our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure website, subject to your rights.
Rumbelia is hosted by Hostinger. Technical information may be processed by Hostinger and its infrastructure providers to supply hosting, security and backups. See Hostinger’s Privacy Policy. WordPress uses necessary account and authentication information for authorised editors and administrators. We currently offer no public visitor accounts, newsletter sign-up or comment forms, and do not run a visitor analytics service.
Contacting us
If you email us, we process your email address, message and information you choose to include so we can respond, correct content or handle your request. Our basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or a legal obligation where your request concerns statutory rights. Our mailbox is provided by Gmail; see the Google Privacy Policy.
Google AdSense and advertising
We use Google AdSense’s site-verification and consent-management services while preparing advertising. The verification meta tag and authorised-seller listing do not themselves set advertising cookies. Google’s AdSense script loads its consent service. Displaying ads depends on Google’s site approval and our advertising settings.
When advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising partners may collect or use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, browser information and information about ad interactions. This may support ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted by your choices, personalised advertising based on activity on this and other websites. Third parties may place and read cookies in your browser as a consequence of ad serving.
We use Google’s consent-management platform for visitors covered by European advertising-consent requirements. Optional advertising storage and processing that require consent depend on your choices in the consent message. You may choose Consent, Do not consent or Manage options, manage vendor choices and withdraw consent later through Privacy and cookie settings. Rejecting optional purposes does not prevent you from reading our articles. Non-personalised advertising can still involve storage or personal-data processing; it is not automatically exempt from consent requirements. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.
The advertising consent message will identify participating vendors and purposes. Read how Google uses information from partner sites, its Privacy Policy and advertising controls. See our Cookie Policy for storage and choices.
Maps, photographs and external links
Some articles offer Google Maps embeds. Maps are held back until you choose Load Google Map for that map; the choice is not remembered as a tracking preference. Loading an embedded map sends connection information, including your IP address, browser details and referring page, to Google, and may involve cookies or similar technologies according to its service and your browser/account settings. Google describes this processing in its Privacy Policy. Map controls and consent arrangements are separate from advertising choices.
Photos hosted in Rumbelia’s media library are delivered by our hosting provider. External images or other content, where included, can connect to the provider named by their URL and disclose connection information. Following source, licence, venue or other external links takes you to the relevant provider, whose privacy policy applies.
Recipients and international processing
Information may be handled by the service providers described above for the stated purposes, and by authorities where disclosure is legally required. Hosting, email, maps and advertising providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Their published privacy information explains their processing locations and applicable transfer safeguards. For questions about a transfer affecting your information, contact us.
Retention
We retain enquiry information for the time needed to respond, resolve the issue and meet applicable legal obligations. Operational records and backups are retained according to their purpose, security needs and the hosting provider’s applicable settings and retention arrangements. We do not promise a single duration for every provider or category. You can ask us about retention relevant to your enquiry. Cookie and consent-record lifetimes depend on the provider and storage item; they are explained through the provider’s information and the consent tool when activated.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, object to processing and withdraw consent. Email us using the address above. We may request proportionate information to verify a request. You can also complain to a competent supervisory authority, including Spain’s Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
Changes
We will update this policy as our services and data practices change and show the revision date. Advertising and optional-service choices will be explained when those features are activated.
